The decals are on top of the ice surface. Dan made these and said there has been good feedback from his customers that they have held up over time.
I used Super Glue Gel for the underside of the surface on the decals that go over the openings (goal crease & center ice). Its worked great so far.

Hey Matt - are you from Chicago or Detroit? I'm a Hawks season ticket holder and was at the Winter Classic. It was great despite the outcome!
Where did you get the cupholders?

I'm a big time Wings fan, but appreciate the Hawks...some streak this year!
I'm lucky to have a brother that works in sheet metal and he fabricated them for me. They are a great addition, everyone uses them! Its too bad ICE hasn't taken notice and made that standard on their tables.

How did you make the drink holders? I need some of those!
Thanks, Dan

Dan,
They were fabricated from sheet metal. It was a just cutting pipe, cutting the base, few tack welds, and then painting.
Once they were installed, it was a huge hit. Well worth it.

What did you use for your boards to go all the way around the ice?
That is sweet!

The boards that wrap around the entire rink is a decal. Its real easy to apply and gives it a great look. It doesn't affect the game play at all either.
