I just finished painting my players, and when i went to spray the lacquer on them, the paint started melting away. Any idea why? Might i have sprayed too close? I used the testors paint.

Your probably got either a little too close with the spray, or sprayed too much on all at once (or maybe both). This has happened to me. The best way to do it seems to be to stay about 10-12 inches away and spray several light coats, allowing dry time between each one. It takes longer but that seems to eliminate "the runs" of the testors coats. What teams are you painting?
