I'm sorry if I'm beating this topic to death, but I am looking for a specific paint that has been used to paint players and maybe a tip or two. I've heard that a brand called One Shot auto paint works well because it doesn't chip easily. Has anyone had any success...or failure with certain paints? Also, is a primer used? Any other suggestions? Thanks guys!

(from another post of mine)
I stripped the Stock Red and Blue paint off of my guys with some paint remover, not thinner. Wash with water and let dry.
Then used testor white spray and coated the guys with sticks masked. The white acts as a primer. Lamp dry
After they dry, I use Testors with brush. Lamp dry between colors.
I spray about 3 coats of POLYURITHANE SEMI GLOSS CLEAR, lamp drying between coats.
My guys have not chipped.

That's basically what I did minus the clear coat at the end. I liked the flat paint vs the gloss jersey.
