Just bought the old 83 Chexx from a friend. Didn't know what I was getting into. Some of the period lights weren't working so after searching online and found nothing I decided to take them apart to see how they're made. Now, just ordered little LED's to solder those in to generate less heat and will pick up some of the larger led's for the ice lights for under the dome. BUT the real question is, has anyone rigged up red LED lights to go behind the night so that when the puck goes in it trips the light as a goal? There has to be some way of doing it given when the puck goes in it triggers a goal. Guessing it's the magnetic strip almost under the goalies. Could I wire a red led light to that?
