Got a new super chexx pro for my son for Christmas Birthday present. Looks beautiful and powers on, but there was no puck. I put the (extra?) puck in the goal after taking apart the dome. Puck will not eject. So I have a brand new unit. Day 1, and we cant play. Is there something I’m missing from the initial setup? Are there now two pucks in my unit? Has anyone encountered a similar issue or any issues with a new unit? I set it up just as super chexx has described on their website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Alex

Does the puck eject solenoid make any noise like it's trying to eject a puck or is it silent? I would check/re-seat your electrical connections on the main board and lift the ice surface to check the connections on the puck eject solenoid to make sure they didn't come loose in shipping. While you have the ice surface lifted check to see if the puck is jammed in the track. You can also look here to see if anyone has posted about a similar issue. pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/superchexx-pro-owners-club/

Thanks for your help. I took your advice and I took it all apart. Silence. Puck isn’t jammed. Boo button works. But no effort is made to eject the puck. Seems like the ejector is dead. Doesn’t make sense for a brand new unit. Guess I’ll call ice Chexx tomorrow

The boo and eject are connected at the button, perhaps there is an issue at the ejctor itself.
Have you removed the ice surface to view the ejector? You are hearing the boo and not the audible sound of the ejector functioning?
