Guys, I played a very good opponent today and was leading 2 - 0 with 9 seconds left in the third period when the scoreboard on the Chexx table completely crashed. All the goals and shots went to 8's on the scoreboard. What is the ruling on this? My opponent said the game is void and it is an automatic replay, but I was leading with 9 seconds left in the 3rd. Now, I naturally won the next game, but what is the official ruling? Just another way to get another game in against the best I suppose.

are you going to list all these scenarios until you find an answer you don't like and will then not come to DelVal?

Airjerd you are right, jord76 will never attend an event, after all the lip smacking, can you just picture the size crow he would be eating? But about the rules, your opponent was right, even with only 9 seconds(on the clock) this is plenty of time to get 1 goal then the game would go to overtime giving your opponent the chance to tie the game and so on. the game must be completed. now if the score was 10-0 that might be a different story. al

JORD76 - All these technical posts, but no answer on the $$$ challenges? No commitment to the Del Val II, where you could ([glow=red,2,300]should[/glow], if you da man like you say) rake in some serious coin?!? What gives - I WANT to be schooled by the best - it's the only way to get better! I'll even take pictures or video tape it! Come on, how can you refuse?!? It will be a free trip for you, if you win all the challenges. And by the way, are you from Toronto? If so, check out a map - Bristol, PA might be closer to you than Boston, MA. I'm just sayin'...COME ON DOWN!! You vs BubbleAl, you vs Airjerd, you vs JG, you vs RufDawg, you vs all-comers - the people want it, we want, DO YOU WANT IT???
And by the way all - if this does happen, I expect good sportsmanship and "good natured" trash talkin'. We all have the bubble in common. Now bring the NOISE JORD76!!!

I’m Jord76 so hear my smack. I shoot so hard the bubble may crack.
I score so many that some don’t count. Cause they go in so fast they go in and out.
You trash talk once I will trash you twice. I continue to win even on your own ice.
You say your game is oh so smooth, All I see is that you continue to lose.
You continue to write all this hype, When you play me you won't even put up a fight.
I try real hard not to gloat. But when you play me you will look like a goat.
It’s still hard to see you quit But I guess big stick man caused you a fit.
Let me leave you with one more thought.
Next time you think you’re up Just remember, I'll be hoisting the cup!

If he is the TO of Bubble, I hope this time he is succesful in committing suicide. He will perform in tournaments as well as TO did against the Eagles. Jord has no balls, if he did he'd come to Bristol and get his ass kicked.

You are right, I don't have balls, I have pucks...and you will see them often as the pop out from center ice after they slide down the track from your net! As for the "TO" nickname, I kind of like it seeing as I'm from Toronto, Ontario. Why do you all on here think you can beat me? You haven't even see me play, so for your sake I'd start taking my word or I may have to run up the score a little more!

"and you will see them often as the pop out from center ice after they slide down the track from your net! " I dont even know how to interpret that statement. Are you sure you are TO and not his publicist? That statement makes as much sense as "TO is a man of statue". I really could care less how good you are at bubble hockey since you wont show up to play I just picture this guy sitting in his basement playing by himself, scoring on a slow centering pass into a net with the goalie all the way over to the side. Then that guy runs over to a mirror and points into it and yells "Im the best, Im unstoppable", much like TO ranting to his coaches on the sideline". But hold it, the ranting has stopped there is a call from upstairs. "Jord its time for din din". "damnn, ok Mom, I'll be right up". One last look at mirror "Im the man!, Boo ya!"

Ok Ok, I played Jason and Jordan last night in Buffalo.
First of all they are not 16, have 2 heads, or talk loads of smack. They are nice dudes just looking to play some bubble. In fact they drove 2 hours on the QE ( Queens highway ) to get to Buff. They wanted to start some discussion and they were successful. Just look at the hits on this thread and you'll understand. The smack is fun and it gives us something to read about. I mean we can only talk about what lubricant to use on our ice only so much. What?
The first game I played against Jordan he had a 2 goal lead. Both goals were off 2 nice defensive moves. Then the puck got stuck in the slot. When we shook it out it gave Jordan 4 more goals. I scored in reality to make to 2 to 1. But the game was over. The second game I beat him 4-0. The game was real bad shape. The Labatt guys promised me a reconfigured game but did not deliver. This game was the bar game that was there 24-7 and was beat to s__t.
I beat Jason about 4 games, all were close. We will play again Nov 15th, same venue.
OK, that's it. Just some Guys wanting to play some bubble. No more no less.
Oh we both lost to guy I play ever year in the finals. This is only the second time he has beaten me in league comp. His partner was a daughter of a friend at work ( man I feel old ). She played only the short stick winger and fed him the puck all night.

It was good time in Buffalo last night. I’m not the greatest doubles players as it truly is a different game, but make no mistake; I will dominate in this category too over time. As for Woj, it was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to making some noise on a real table (the table last night was completely unacceptable). But there is one thing I need to clear up, I was up 2-0 when time ran out and being the graceful player that I am I toned it down a bit so that Woj wouldn’t leave with a complex. As for game number 2, not to make any excuses, but I was under the weather at that point but I sucked it up and got beat by a worthy opponent. It won’t happen again however. Am I the “T.O.” of bubble?...no, more like the David Beckham of Super Chexx. So now that you all know I exist, start training because I’m on a mission more than ever now. ______(enter you name here) because I’m coming for you! Jord76 has spoken.

Mattarch, who are you? What have you won? Where are you even from? It's going to be hard to get a good look at you when your always staring down in your net wondering how I scored on you!
