Craig:
Feel free to spread the word to your fellow MACK league guys. Any of the guys I met at the Nationals would be included in my offer of a place to stay and an airport ride, but someone I didn't meet personally wouldn't get the same treatment. Thanks. Keep bubblin'. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to post photos from my league so everyone can see my set-up in the "IceHouse." Have a beer on me - something good! CHEERS!

In an attempt to bring back the interest in Bubble hocey back to the St. Louis Metro area, we hosted a night of bubble hockey on Friday Dec 12, 2008. What a great turnout at The Mack. First of all, a huge thanks goes out to Brian Tracy for not only hosting the event at The Mack, but for his hospitality and for supplying the Blues tickets to the winner. These tickets had a value of $270.00, so the winner (me) really came away with a great gift, not to mention a pretty good buzz from the beer provided. There was plenty of bubble action for all participants and the finals came down to Brian versus Craig in a best of three match. All three games were tight, right down to the finish. Both guys had their best shots from the right D working but one thing Craig brought to the table that night was an old doubles move. With the lively boards on one of the tables, I brought out the bank off the side board from the right winger to the center. With the score tied 4-4 in OT in game 3, both contestants played great D. If was that bank shot that sent Brian packing. We will be gathering again in January on Friday January 30th. With the great reception we had, we will once again be meeting at The Mack. With only two tables and the free refreshments, we are only able to accommodate the first 16 RSVP's to this post and an email that went out to past participants. We should have more Blues tickets for the winner, possibly winners, along with Brian and the Mack’s great hospitality. Hope to see even more faces that night, making the gathering even more spectacular. Make sure to reserve your spot for the next Bubble Hockey Night in St. Louis by contacting me at craigcole5@yahoo.com. Everyone have a great Holiday Season and hope to see many of you again in the coming new year.

Great to see you guys back in the swing of things (or is that "bank" in the swing of things in honor of the winning goal?)! Keep us all updated on the turnout and the results - good showing Craig!

Another good night of bubble hockey. 3 new faces with talent and a lot of bubble was played. We started with a round robin event with everyone playing each other in 1 game for seating. A newcomer named Jeff seated first (good player, where have you been). Finals came down to Craig Vs. Brian in a revenge match from last months event. This time Brian came out on top with a 8-4 victory after Craig came back through the losers bracket late in the tournament. Thanks again for Brian Tracy and The Mack for their hospitality. Next Bubble Hockey Night in STL is set for Friday February 27, 2009 at 7pm. Hope to see yo all there. You new guys, thanks for coming out and impressing us with your skills. It was nice to have new competition and thanks to the regulars for you participation as well. See you all Friday February 27th. PLEASE RESPOND TO craigcole5@yahoo.com TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. Again we need to do this so that Brian can prepare the Mack for us and we can get more bubble tables if needed. Keep on bubblin' Craig
