The date is still the 27th of Feb.
It will be best of 3 in each round. We are shooting to have 6 tables. Right now it is doubles.
True doubles- each players must control 3 sticks. Defense- LW, LD, Goalie- Offense- center, RD, RW big stick.

Slayerchexx and Woj: I am totally bummed - I can't make it Feb 27th!!! I had a vacation scheduled this week, but it got snowed out and I'm home (we've had over 3 feet of snow here in NJ in less than a week) and rescheduled to the week of Feb 27th, so there is no way I can be in Buffalo. Can't change the vaca, either - it is all pre-paid and the only time I could reschedule is the week of 02/27. Good luck to all in Buffalo - hope as many of you as possible come on out to support this event. Woj and the New Era people always run a first class operation, so get yourselves on out to Buffalo for some bubble hockey! JG PS - I am running a singles play tournament Saturday March 20th in Burlington, NJ - check out the link below for details: www.njbubblehockey.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=73:tourney032010&catid=3:newsflashI'll have some sweet trophies, some cool giveaways (including a NY Rangers jersey), and great food all included. My events are pool play, so you are guarented to play at least 8-10 games, more if you advance. Hope to see some of in Burlington, NJ on March 20th, and good luck in Buffalo Feb 27th!!!

Hi
I hope all who attended had a great time at this event. Thank you so much for making the effort and braving the Buffalo snow and cold!
We had 50 plus teams show up and 15,000 spectators at the Powder Keg event itself. Huge Ice maze, tubing down the 190, Labatt pond hockey, Ice sculptures, and of course The Bubble.
Despite the numerous power outages and standing in a pool of freezing water holding an extension chord I really had the time of my life.
The finals ended up in a round robin.
Doug and Jeremy Davis, John DeRubes and Eric Jobson, Tony Eichhorn and Woj.
We played a best of 3 in each round which was killer. Each match came down to the wire. Amazing bubble!
It played out as follows;
Tony and Woj- 1st place Doug and Jeremy- 2nd place John and Eric - 3rd place Al and Jack Jennings- 4th place
Thanks again to all who played. Al and the Davis boys for braving the trip up the 90. Al again for fixing some of the games.
The New Era team was awesome! They made it happen and without them this would not have taken place. Special thanks goes out to Jim Wannemacher from NE, he really put a lot of thought and muscle into this tourney, countless hours to make it happen. Thanks to Kelly Coppola, Nichole and my bud Jerry from NE.
Also thanks to Joe Coppola at ICE for loaning us a few games.
Talk to all of you soon. I will post some photos soon.

Way to go Tony and Woj! And congrats to the Final 4 teams, too!!! Sounds like a great day indeed. And props to Woj for helping to pull it all together, in the Chexxfan world and beyond - U DA MAN!
Now, who's up for the trip to NJ for some serious singles play under the dome Saturday March 20th, 2010, in New Jersey? Our South Jersey Bubble Hockey League members will take on all comers in the pool play - any of you think you can hang with JG, Bill Brooks, Scott Storck, B-Dawg, "the future," and the rest of the South Jersey Bubble Hockey League?!? We'll have sweet trophies, food and brews, and some great giveaway items including an authentic NY Rangers jersey and other prizes, too. $20 covers it all. There are already guys coming from NIAGARA FALLS to this tourney! Let's see some of you diehards make the trek to the "IceHouse" for a day of bubble! Four (4) Super Chexx tables, all in great condition, will be on hand to ensure that all players get in a ton of games. This will be a POOL Play event followed by a seeded double elimination Tournament, with separate A, B, and C flight winners! Expect to play a MINIMUM of 8-10 games!!! Anyone got game? Al Jennings??? the Davis boys??? Woj and the Buffalo crew??? Our "North of the Border" Canadian neighbors??? the rest of the CHEXXFAN diehards??? Email JG if interested at: njbubblehockey@verizon.net
Bubble On!!!
