Gotcha, just want to play. Just wanted him to know I wasn't a noob. I'll let you know how it goes. Not afraid to lose. Although I have 5000 wins and only 5 losses.

Just wanted the CT guys to know I might know how to play a little. Trying to get some games rolling. I'm sure if we crossed paths today I would have trouble beating you. It was probably only twice out of the 1,000's CT Championships at Civic Center doubles round robin round one we got you. Met you in championship and lost 2-mail biters. Got you once head up, at a tourney in RI? Oddly lit bar [blue-ish lighting] That's where I saw Dubois play for the first time..Incredible. Was a doubles only BL tourney, played side games with you. I'm sure everyone has progressed since then, I read the brackets from Buffalo and saw that JDavis put a whomping on K.Dubois. Makes me question the intelligence in playing him. The only way I can get better is to play better players.

hey kencox thanks for the memorys i totally rember you, and that was a really fun night, you guys played great. I thought that you brought up a great point also, Ken Dubouis i know he does not play the bubble any more but for a long period of time he was "the Man" it is not right he is not on the top player list, but where would you put him? there are alot of great players that have not played an event in over 3 plus years. Mabe it is time to take those players and make a hall (bubble dome) of fame and pull them off the rankings so that the new players can climb the ladder. John Gaffney Woj, Bill Brooks, Woj"s future son in law and myself spoke about this in Buffalo in Febuary, mabe it is time to make this happen. what is your thought and all other chexxfan members thoughts? thanks al

Ah, the Bubble Hockey Hall of Fame, I remember quite well from our talks in Buffalo! My personal vote for "lock in" for Hall of Famers would be the following: Al Jennings, Kenny Dubouis, Jeremy Davis, Kelly Walker, and Tim Leahy,
I thought of a couple of others however I think you got to win at least one major tournament in singles.
Looking forward to some good bubble this year.
Bill

bill nice to hear from you. but my thought were more for the guys that have not played in events in 3 plus years. i was thinking ken dubouis, kelly walker, tim leahey, scott storch and dont forget russ kasim, he was the first to get the private tournaments off the ground.

That sounds like a good list Al! Scott Stork is my mentor. I took my game to the next level when I thought I was good and took whoopings from him for quite a long time. Well if it is just not on Bubble Hockey Skill alone, there are some other players to consider too.

lets put my sister in the hall of fame also.....come on AL....if we were going to make one ...its going to be on skill alone....thats it.....u need to make it special...scott storch is a great player...but he has never won a major tournament.....how is he considered a hall of famer??? he is a great player but not hall of famer

thefuture i totaly disagree with you about both scott (who won a couple double championship and i think was a top 3 in a singles event or two) and as for russ he got the privite events off the ground i am not sure we would be doing what we are without his efforts. but that is my opinion and you know what they say about opinions

I have to agree with Al. Kenny, Kelly Walker, and Russ. All top players that no longer play the bubble. Like to see Kelly come to the New Era tourney if possible. hey kencox thanks for the memorys i totally rember you, and that was a really fun night, you guys played great. Yes, I like the hall of fame idea! There are definitely some key folks out there that ought not to be forgotten for how they stood above others in there bubble success. As for if this should be strictly on skill, maybe that's best. But if so, then maybe there ought to be some other category for those Pioneering bubblers or those who accomplished something special. But on a different note, what about today, and in the future? Other than the Jersey guys, who else is having tournaments? Personally (and I admit that I'm saying this more as a catalyst to generate emotion and friendly rivalry) I think the West coat players could take out the East coast players! Anyone interested in working to find out if this is true someday? I might be interested in working toward that! What do you think?

AL
Russ doesnt not belong in the hall of fame because he started bubble hockey....thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard....the person who invented basketball and hockey arent in there....why should bubble hockey be different....i am pretty sure john gaffney would still be running tournments with or without russ. Scott is a good player, i get that but he is NOT a HALL OF FAMER. He has never won a championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats the bottom line.. Hall of fame is for legends not people who are just good. If scott is in the hall of fame then bill brooks should be also....His resume is just as strong if not better.
