Can I get some suggestions. I am using Avery clear labels as others have stated are good for this. I am planning on painting my players soon. I printed out some adds for the boards yesterday and those came out great. However these smaller logo's for the players come out pretty bad in quality. Any suggestions? Another thing that I cannot figure out is how to get "DALLAS" to show up on the logo when I print. The letters are in white and when I try to print the printer doesn't pick up the color at all and only prints the letters STARS and the rest of the logo. Any suggestions here? I cannot do the letters black because the player will be painted green in that area. Any help would be great. Here are two pics just to show you what I mean by the quality and the DALLAS letters not showing up.

what solution is that for? The white font not showing up or the quality of the image? The image quality should be the same on either label I would think.
Thanks

The quality is better on white labels. The stars logo I have has Dallas in dark. If you want it I can email it to you. The wings labels will need to be printed on white also because once they are placed over a red player there will not be any white to show through the clear portion of the label and you will only have a red blob. Most printers do not print white, they are designed to print on white paper. As for the red paint. I start with rust-oleum plastic spray paint from home depot. I do the same for the white players too. It gives a good even base to start from, but testors spray paint should work the same. If you do go with testors, use their normal red, do not use dark red and make sure you tape off the sticks. There is no way to keep the sticks from chipping and you end up with paint flecks all over your ice. Jim

Ok so you just spray painted them all red then touched them up with white paint after that I'm guessing...oh and black for the shoes? That sounds so much easier too. I'll go get some white labels today then. please do email me the logo's you used. chad711 at gmail thanks man! P:S can you post up some pics of your painted players?
