Hey All! I am the proud owner of a new Super Chexx game customized with the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs. Couldn't be happier with this game. I have a question about something I noticed with my game, but I don't think it is an issue with my game alone. A neighbour of mine has a new game as well that is about 6 weeks older than mine that he got in November. While I played his game I noticed that the puck eject solenoid would engage randomly from time to time without pushing the boo/eject button, and this seemed to be associated with the occasional tripping of the score count and audio associated with a goal being scored. I noticed that my game did the same thing on occasion during the first 15-20 games that have been played so far. I was wondering if static electricity might trip the electronics from time to time, or if this is a known issue. Any discussion of this simple issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think I have the solution to the problem I previously posted. It seems my youngest daughter started a habit of pressing the boo/eject button to eject the puck on her own after a goal. This is a bad idea. Pressing the eject button without letting the game eject the puck after a goal on its own will cause the puck eject solenoid to activate on its own. It may trigger a couple of times. And if you continue to press the boo/eject while continuing play, the solenoid can continue to activate more than one time on its own. As this happens it seems to have an effect on the goal scored sensor which then trips and adds a goal without it being scored and the accompanying audio to play. Don't do this and the game plays perfectly normal.

I'm having the same problem, except the puck eject won't stop firing once I start the game. It sounds like what you are describing but worse. Initially, it would also count the score up each time but now simply triggers the solenoid. I can hear the boos at times as though that button has been pushed. Unplugging and resetting does not seem to help. The wall plug does have the third (grounding) pin removed, which makes me wonder about static electricity as well. Any ideas?

Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Every time I press the boo/eject the puck eject activates, no boos heard and the score on the side it was pressed goes up by 1. The puck also ejects very quickly after an legit goal is scored. If you have any experience fixing this I would appreciate it.
