I looked over the parts list on the ICE site and it looked like you could build a relatively basic table using all new parts for around 1800. As I priced it, I stuck with the assemblies, nhl surface, 1 nhl team, 1 red/blue team and minimal decals. I didn't factor in shipping costs which are sure to drive up the cost. Family trip to Niagara may be in order The parts descriptions were very limited so I'm not sure I included everything I needed. I think this would be fun to do and I'm mechanically inclined so I'm confident in my abilities but I've never owned/serviced a table before. It looks to be all plug-and-play but I'm curious if anyone knows what I'd actually be getting into. I played a lot in college and later won a trip to NJ in the bud light bubble boys contest when they played the Aves in 2001 (lost in first round to the team from Boston who won the tournament. My partner drank too many free bud lights, lol). I took my 4yr old to the all star game fan fair event here in Cbus on Saturday where I introduced him to the game. He talked about it all day Sunday and made me play fooseball with him when he got home tonight. Really wanting him to have a super chexx table he can grow up with and call his own. Don't want to pay full retail and used games seem to be hard to find in this area, where hockey has only recently become mainstream. Plus, why pay 1800 for used if I can build new for same. Thanks in advance, CBJfan
