Ive seen some of the great work on this site with regards to painting players, and I am thinking about doing the same.
My question is; has anyone tried painting with lacquer instead of enamel or acrylic paints?
I haven't tried painting players before but in theory, lacquer should be more durable and even allow you to paint the sticks without chipping when they come in contact with other players, since lacquer actually bonds to the plastic. If anyone has more info on painting with lacquer, please chime in here.

I would suggest not painting the sticks on any custom jobs. Painting them brown will seem cool and look great in the beginning, but they will chip and look like hell almost immediately. You will also have part chips/flecks all over your ice surface and they are a pain to keep cleaning up. Ask me how I know.....
