Hey all, quick question. The super chexx I recently purchased has an ice surface which is faded. I was reading on another forum that a person there re-paints his ice surface (it was for a different type of table hockey). Anyway he uses markers to paint the lines and then sprays the surface with somce coating to protect it. Has anyone here tried this? Thanks!

I'm getting ready to order a new surface, I think I read the same post you did (http://www.tablehockeyheaven.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1203), I'm going to try it on my old ice but I'm going to put the painted lines (not sure if I'll use marker or paint) on different layers of the clear coat and then scratch them up lightly as I put each successive layer of clear coat on top to make the ice look like it's been Zamboni'd a few hundred times. I'm really interested in doing a graphic at center ice and have seen some amazing things on some other sites. You going to do it?

Most of the ice I have seen is with stickers. I would think these stickers would ware off or possibly slow the puck. I have not really seen any 'different' ice surfaces. Please post some pictures or links if you have some.
