I read the book, and have my game set up for setting 1 (coin 1) on 2 coins per credit...but I am clueless as to what setting #2 (Coin 2) does...I have tried to set it with every number from 1 to 10, and it still only gives me 1 credit per 2 coins...so what exactly is it used for?

Here is from the ICE website: 1. COIN 1 (COINS PER CREDIT) SET THIS VALUE FOR HOW MANY COINS IT WILL TAKE FOR 1 CREDIT. 2. COIN 2 (COIN 1 EQUIVALENT) SET THIS VALUE TO 1 IF YOU WISH THE VALUE TO BE THE SAME AS COIN 1 (IF YOU WISH THE VALUE TO BE TWICE AS HIGH, SET TO 2. IF YOU WISH THE VALUE TO BE THREE TIMES AS HIGH, SET TO 3, ETC…). www.icegame.com/images/document/Super%20Chexx%20Service%20Manual.pdfPage 8

I read the book as my post said...if you read what the book says, it makes no sense...what is the exact purpose of coin 2?

Disregard my post. JP from ICE was able to assist me with this. It's used for other countries who have different currencies...
