Also notice that the long stick man is in the center and not at right wing.

Anyone ever hear of or remember this game that was out in 1970? The Chexx game is exactly as this old game. Check out the pics. Did Chexx purchase this design from Sega? Anyway, thought this was cool. It sold a year ago at auction for $695. Check out the old scoreboard. Here is the url to the listing... www.biddergy.com/detail.asp?id=281652

These games were made in 1983 (not 70's) by entertainment enterprises (not sega) and were sued by chexx for patent fringement. All the playfield parts including the dome were identical to chexx. They used a different pcb and a switching power supply . The pcb is almost identical to the one chexx later used in their kixx soccer (1985) ,and 89ish super chexx with the "Japanese board type" ... hmmmm... chexx parts are direct replacement including nets, players, rods, tracks, gear boxes etc. Not sure which company had the idea first but chexx won the legal battle and put them out of business.

Can the guts of this machine be replaced with Chexx parts? I have this machine but the board seems to be fried. The game starts up, but the puck ejector continuously fires the whole time. Doesn't seem to recognize the puck going in the goal either.
I'm just assuming that replacement boards for this machine are impossible to find.
Any help? It looks great, but is totally unusable right now.

It's sounds like it could just be one of the sensors under the ice.. they are reed switches and if one is stuck closed or the wires shorted it would cause this.. pull the ice surface and there is two sensors, one on either side of where the puck elects from.. they have two wires coming out of each one, this should be an open circuit normally and when the puck magnet gets close it closes it.. if they are stuck closed it could cause that
