Hey there, glad the peroxide worked on the ice surface...I have not been here for awhile...My red base was all faded and scuffed so I used a (heat blower gun ), the kind at hardware stores sometimes used for hockey blades etc ..I slowly went across one side of the base..I think I went from the bottom up to the top...moving across one side of the base..keep it moving slowly....It brought 90% of the color shine back...Basically it melted the top layer, (1mm) of plastic on the base bringing back to the surface the orig color ...Try it on a side less noticeable first....You could put some car wax on after that as a final shine...I have not yet...Best of luck...Let us know
