Hello. I'm new to the board and just picked up a used Super Chexx last week. Game is in nice shape and a blast to play but I'm having a couple issues. When I first got it, a goal scored by either team registers as a goal and a shot on goal for BOTH teams. I decided to disconnect one of the Boo/Eject buttons to see what happens and when I did that the goals and shots on goal started working correctly. But the problem now is that the game goes into sudden death regardless of the score after three periods (and, obviously, I only have one working eject button). When someone scores, the game then ends. I'm assuming it's a wiring issue somewhere but just looking for any suggestions on where to start. I'm also wondering if someone could tell me if the Boo/Eject leaf switch should be on the NC or NO connection. Both are on the NC connection and I'm wondering if that's wrong. Seems to me the connection should normally be open and you would want to close it to eject the puck but that's just an assumption.
Any info would be great.
Thanks - Andrew

Hey Andrew. I am unsure of your wiring issues. I hope it is some external wire short instead of a broken capacitor or resistor on your board. But a great resource for tracing these electrical problems is the site pinrepair.com/arcade/chexx.htmMy 2003 Super Chexx has eject buttons both on normally open, and that link has some wiring diagrams that show normally open switches as well. Good luck.
