Good morning! Yesterday I picked up a used super Chexx game. It is really in very good shape in my opinion. The dome is pretty much blemish free, and the ice is very fast and in good shape. I do have two questions I was wondering if folk could answer for me...
1. When programming the length of periods, number of periods, etc. There is a ninth category on some of the models for puck ejector strength...when (what year) did that start in the programming menu? I'm trying to get a sense of the year mine was produced.
2. Although I think it is in great shape, last night when playing my son and my neighbor, a puck got caught in the skate (rear foot) of a player...does that mean he isn't pressed down far enough on the board, or does that happen or is that a result of wear on the plastic of that skate? Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any info!

1. If you have Rick Jeanneret announcing then it was made after 2001. There is some info on dating a chexx machine here: www.pinrepair.com/arcade/chexx.htm. 2. Sometimes this happens. Try pressing the player down anyway. Also check your puck to see if it's worn. When I got my machine it came with two pucks, one brand new and one that was in the machine on route. The used one was noticeably thinner and would get stuck but the new puck has not had that issue yet. Congratulations on the game and enjoy your Super Chexx.
