I don't know of anything in the Long Island area, but I am hosting a tournament in Burlington, NJ, on Saturday May 20th. It will run about 4-5 hours starting about 1pm to about 6pm. Burlington is at Exit 5 of the NJ TurnPike, about 1hr and 30 min from NYC. You are welcome to enter. There will be about 20 or so players and 4 Chexx tables. Come down and play and see where you stand - there should be some "good" to "very good" to "holy sh*t, dude!" players there to compete against. If you're interested, send me an email at: njbubblehockey@verizon.net
Same goes for anyone else. I am capping the event at 24 players but only have 8-9 now, so there are still spots open.

I've got 3 tables that I personally own, and should have a 4th there on May 20th. Pictures of my set up can be seen in the "South Jersey Bubble Hockey League" link under Tournaments - just keep going through the posts until you see the pictures. As for a tournament fee, it depends on how many guys I get but it definitely will be no more than $20 - that'll cover my trophy expenses, snacks, and a case or 2 of beer (though donations to the beer fridge are always welcome!). More info to follow - hope to see you there. Send me an email if you are interested (njbubblehockey@verizon.net).

Hello fellow Chexx Players. Hope each of you is having a great summer. I just thought for those of you interested in table hockey beyond the Bubble, and who live in the NY-tri state area, that we have finally completed most of the infrastructure for a pair of table hockey leagues under the umbrella of the New York City Table Hockey Association: www.leaguelineup.com/nyctablehockeyYou will find our mission statement, a description of our two leagues, some information on a tournament I am hosting the weekend before KONE, some awesome links and some great photos--including a very intense photo of Scott and Jeremy duking it out from the Del-Val Classic. We are looking for players who play both the classic games and the stiga ( and the Benej) for our leagues which will be held at least once a month in venues located in the southern Queens/Rockaway Beach area. If any of this interests you--and it's OK if it doesn't--please visit our site and contact us, as we would like to have as many players as possible playing in our leagues which will be run in a professional manner with even competition. Thanks for your time and all the best !

Anyone interested in Super Chexx? I live in the Bronx. Not far from Pelham Parkway. Interested in recruiting new players for "Small" and "Large" tournaments. Leave your name and I'll get back to you.
