This season is shaping up to be one of the biggest and hopefully the best ever, with several new members joining and maybe even some old ones returning. I'll post weekly updates here on chexxfan and on my njbubblehockey.org website. Hope to hear from some of you - Bubble On!!!

Cheers all:

The Fall/Winter 2010 edition of the South Jersey Bubble Hockey League (SJBHL)cranks up the regular season next Thursday night, August 26th, 7:00pm in Burlington, NJ. Here's the league in a snapshot:

- approximately 8 or 9 regular season league nights, Thursday nights from 7:00pm to about 9:30pm;

- I may throw in a Saturday afternoon league day if enough people want to do it;

- we play a round robin format each league night on 4 tables - you can expect to play between 8-16 games on any given league night, depending on turnout;

- stats are kept all season for seeding in a playoff tournament the 1st Thursday in December. Trophies go out to the top 3 finishers.

There is no cost to join the league. There is no requirement to make every league night - come out as often or as infrequently as you like. We have a great group of guys who love to play Superchexx bubble hockey, and the league is always open to new members. For those who don't know, we have our own website -

We have a dozen or more "regulars," and there will be several newcomers joining the league this year, and maybe some old timeres returning as well!!! So come on out and check us out!

The first 2 league nights are Thursdays - August 26 and September 2, 7:00pm start time. We will definitely be off the following Thursday September 9th - the remaining dates I hope to finalize soon.
